Akal recruits experienced security professionals to staff its critical positions:

• Over 3,000 are former law enforcement officers, most with 20 years or more of police experience
  
• All Akal employees must pass a background check and any client required checks prior to working for Akal.
  
• Our senior supervisors and managers are security professionals, many of whom served as law enforcement officials, who provide leadership to the officers and ensure that the program always meets the highest quality standards
  
• All officers are either graduates of a certified law enforcement training academy, or receive contract specific pre-employment security training

Akal’s personnel provide professional front-line security to our clients in a wide variety of situations including: controlling access to client facilities, using x-ray machines and metal detectors, inspecting vehicles, patrolling facilities, escorting key officials, and guarding restricted areas. This strategic partnership between contractor and client provides the highest levels of security in the most effective possible way.
